With Hrmony Mobility, you can get reimbursed for a variety of mobility costs. Exactly which costs are eligible for reimbursement depends on the modules booked by your employer and the set monthly budget.
✅ What is reimbursed?
Trips with public transportation on scheduled routes
- Business trips between your home and your primary workplace – i.e., your commute. This includes buses, trains (including long-distance trains such as IC/ICE, provided they operate on scheduled routes and do not represent purely private trips), and other public transport.
- Private trips on public transit – buses, trams, subways, and commuter trains for your private activities.
Eligible ticket types
- Deutschlandticket (also valid for certain approved IC/ICE connections)
- Monthly passes, time passes, and subscriptions
- Annual tickets for regional transport associations
- Employee subscriptions for local and long-distance transport (as long as it is scheduled service)
- Multi-ride tickets (e.g., 10-ride tickets) on scheduled routes
- Single tickets for bus, train, tram, subway, commuter train, and long-distance – for trips between home and primary workplace or on public transit for business purposes
- Tickets for cross-border connections (e.g., hiking buses, cross-border regional trains)
- Special tickets for seasonal or regional offers (e.g., rail replacement services)
- Multi-person tickets – exclusively for business trips
- Combined tickets including bicycle transport (if a regular service of scheduled transport)
❌ What is not reimbursable?
- Long-distance tickets (ICE, IC, EC, TGV, Thalys) for purely private trips
- Flight tickets
- Taxis, on-call buses, and similar occasional transport services
- Special or comfort tickets with additional services beyond regular transport (e.g., first-class upgrades, exclusive seat reservations)
- Premium upgrades or packages that are not part of the normal scheduled transport fare
Note: Your employer sets the maximum monthly budget for reimbursement. The actually reimbursable services may vary depending on the booked module.
