We are expanding our portfolio with the modern HelloBonnie benefit card. Benefit now from a modular system that combines tax-optimized budgets with the freedom of a Mastercard directly within the Hrmony platform.
Getting Started with HelloBonnie – How to Begin
This article explains how to register with HelloBonnie, receive your balance, and use it flexibly.
1️⃣ Registration
You will receive an invitation to register from your employer – usually by email. For registration, you will need:
- Email address
- Name
- Date of birth
- Mobile phone number (for secure payment processes via 3-D Secure)
After registration, your account must be activated by your employer. You will receive an email once your access is ready to use.
After that, you can log in anytime at wallet.hellobonnie.de.
💳 Activate HelloBonnie Smartcard
After your first login, you can immediately activate your virtual HelloBonnie Smartcard. You can use it:
- 🛒 For online shopping
- 🏪 At the store counter – by adding it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
Prefer a physical plastic card? You can find an ordering option in your profile – if your employer has enabled this option.
2️⃣ Receive Balance
Your benefit balance is provided by your employer. You will receive a notification as soon as new balance is available for you.
⚠️ Important: Assign your balance by the end of the month – otherwise, automatic assignment will take place.
3️⃣ Assign Balance
You can flexibly distribute your balance across different Spaces – as many as you want.
📍 Regional Spaces
Use your balance locally at any card terminal within your region – for example:
- Weekly grocery shopping at the supermarket
- Dinner at your favorite restaurant
- Coffee to go on the way to work
- Massage at the physiotherapist
- Fueling in your region
📱 Brand Spaces
Assign your balance specifically to a brand and use it both online and on-site – for example:
- Deutsche Bahn – online via app or website, at the ticket counter or ticket machines
- Uber – via the Uber app or website using the HelloBonnie Smartcard as payment method
- Urban Sports Club – store the Smartcard as a payment method; balance can be saved up
- Aral – contactless via smartphone or with the physical Smartcard at any Aral gas station

Important Rules
- Balance must be assigned by end of the month.
- Assigned balance cannot be moved between Spaces.
- Assigned balance can be saved up indefinitely.
- Balance can only be used in selected regions or brands – no use abroad.
- No cash withdrawals and no gambling allowed.
