After you have added a new employee, you can assign and configure benefits for that person directly in the Admin Portal.
How to assign a benefit to an employee
- Navigate to the desired person in employee management and click on them.
- Switch to the "Benefits" tab.
- Select the desired benefit and specify from when the employee should receive it.
- As a start date, you can select at the earliest the current month or any future date.
- The employee will automatically receive an email at the start of the benefit period informing them that a new benefit has been added for them.

Important note: Retroactive granting
Benefits are granted retroactively for the entire benefit month in which the start date falls.
Example: If you invite an employee to Hrmony on the 15th of the month and add the meal subsidy as a benefit, this can also be used for meal receipts purchased between the 1st and 15th of the month.
