On each receipt, the invoice date, place of issue, total amount, and a clear description of the food items must be visible. This is already automatically the case for most receipts today, but it also applies to handwritten receipts, for example.
By the way, (multi-page) PDF receipts from delivery services can also be submitted. In this case, the invoice date, not the delivery date, is considered as the receipt date. Shared or split bills can also be submitted for reimbursement.
Receipts that do not originate from Germany will not be reimbursed and will be rejected.
After successful submission to Hrmony, receipts do not need to be kept. Hrmony automatically archives the receipts digitally for tax purposes after submission.
Please photograph receipts individually (1 receipt = 1 picture) to ensure correct reading. Longer receipts (e.g., from supermarkets) can also be submitted and optionally folded in the middle, as long as the necessary data is legible.
